I'm a fan of your blog, thanks for the follow back. Check out this song 10 Sharp Commandments: http://skinnytiesandwingtips.tumblr.com/post/3755580191/10-sharp-commandments#notes. Let me know what you think.
That was pretty dope…my fave
Rule Numero Uno:
"You should know your size / Whoever said you was doin it, told you lies / see no one cares if your wrist is icy / and your suit cost a lot if it don’t fit you nicely"
So, let me get this straight...Charlie Sheen can make a "porn family", Kelsey Grammar can end a 15 year marriage over the phone, Larry King can be on divorce #9, Britney Spears had a 55 hour marriage, Jesse James and Tiger Woods, while married, were having sex with EVERYONE. Yet, the idea of same-sex marriage is going to destroy the institution of marriage? Really? Reblog if you are proud to support equal rights.
Just got going on the Tumblr thing, and right away you inspired me to take a couple of suits to a tailor. Before: Sasquatch in a wool bag. After: Paul Bunyan going to the Oscars. Thank you, thank you. For my next adventure, I'll be making my own custom tie. My plan is to raid the local thrift store for one with the right size, which I'll dissect for its liner and use as a template, and maybe another store item will become the tie itself. If all goes well, I'll have a sweet custom tie for about $5 (plus sewing lessons from the missus). Maybe this project will become my first official Tumblr post!
Awesome! Glad you learned something from it. I remember the first time getting a suit jacket back and how I excited I was. i still really enjoy it.
Your tie project sounds interesting. Let me know how it goes! And remember, it is always a learning process.
